Ola amigos!
Another week gone and countless shenanigans with it. EUOC started the week off strong with a huge turnout for Coach Dan’s KF session, with the headtorches now an absolute necessity. For the keen, a tight turnround from intervals ensued, before chickens were counted, doughnuts filled and cider brewed, in anticipation of our Halloween social!! Childhood memories were reminisced upon, the bouncer ended up on the floor, and one of our social secs was seen in a very dashing yellow frock; if you weren’t there, where were you??
Then instead of pasta night on Wednesday, Alex and Adam threw a flat ceilidh! It a good thing that the flat was already full though, as their downstairs neighbours no long want to be friends :(( Much galivanting was seen, including a strip the willow on the streets; such good fun!
Then the return of FWTN! Dan Barber whipped us up a thrilling mass start around the Steils with extra barriers just popping up left right and centre, spooky!! The week was finished off with the first official EUOC x SEDS weekend away in the busy metropolis that is Achnamara. Some top-class orienteering, a couple of hills and a whole lot of fun later; and sadly, its back to uni tomorrow! Watch out though, there is always more instore including plenty of EUOC activities to keep you busy in this forthcoming week.
That’s all for week 6! If you have any questions, please feel free to pop them in the general chat, or if you are struggling at all, please feel free to reach out to me or our wellbeing officer Wozzle for some advice or just a chat. As per usual, if you also fancy some company for your run, ping a message on the general chat and there will be someone with similar plans.
Until I see you next,
Izzy
