All courses cross roads with significant traffic and are as such unsuitable for under 16s without an adult shadowing them.
No loose control descriptions will be provided.
Timings
- The starts are from 18:00-18:45.
- There is an optional mass start on the Long course at 18:30.
- Courses close at 19:45

Additional Information
There may be artificial barriers out on the courses. The barriers will not be marked on the ground and thus it is up to you to make sure you abide by them. See an example of barriers in play below.

It goes without saying that a headtorch is required and don’t forget your dibber.
EUOC have some spare dibbers, compasses & headtorches that you can borrow, just send us an email.
Runners choice (long only):
This event will also feature a format relatively new to orienteering, a runners choice section.
As shown in the diagram to the left, you will run the first section of your course normally, then when the numbers run out, flip the map over and you will get 3 choices of course to run through a certain section. Run only 1 of these 3 options, then when that section ends, flip the map back over where the numbers will resume.
In the example to the left, #4 on the left hand map will match up (be on the same place on both maps) to #4 on each of the 3 options on the right hand map, and #7/8 (depending on the last control of the options A, B or C) matches up with #8(7) on the left hand map.
