No loose control descriptions will be provided.
Timings
- The starts are from 18:15-19:00.
- There is an optional mass start on the Long course at 19:00.
- Courses close at 20:00
Additional Information
There may be artificial barriers out on the courses. The barriers will not be marked on the ground and thus it is up to you to make sure you abide by them. See an example of barriers in play below.
It goes without saying that a headtorch is required, shoes with good grip are recommended, and don’t forget your dibber.
EUOC have some spare dibbers, compasses & headtorches that you can borrow, just send us an email.
Twist (LONG ONLY) – One-Man Relay
Explanation
This week the long course comes to you in the form of a one-man relay! Competitors will run three gaffled loops, providing some fun head-to-head racing. If you don’t normally fancy the mass start, please consider doing it this week – the more people we have, the more it will feel like a real relay.
- Maps will have loops 1 and 2 on the first side and the 3rd on the reverse.
- Barriers will be in the same locations on all loops
- The short (not a One-Man Relay) has one fewer barrier than the long (the rest are in the same location)
- On subsequent loops, please be mindful of people starting/finishing their course when revisiting the start triangle/kite (take a wide berth if necessary).
